Casa de Cura is the antidote to the modern fast-paced world. This space has been intentionally created to remember the lost art of grounding in the wisdom of your body and the earth.
Here, time doesn’t exist - you wake up to the sound of mother nature, move in a way that feels good for your body, and eat deliciously fresh and locally sourced food.
You will spend your days breathing in the warm and sweet mountain air, basking in the healing Monchique sunshine, and reading quietly under the olive trees with your bare feet on the earth.
You will nourish yourself with authentic connection, rest deeply under the (visible) Milky Way, and revel in the highly underrated pleasure of slowing down.
This is a space for teachers, healers, artists, mystics, poets, visionaries, dreamers, change-makers, and nature-lovers who seek authentic community and connection.
Accommodation
Our healing village embodies the ‘less is more’ ethos, where sacred simplicity is rooted in our foundation. Everything you see from the rustic bedrooms and natural pool to the secret hangouts and hidden Shala has been intentionally created with love and devotion.
Our hidden village sleeps up to 12 guests across three farm houses with flexibility in layouts to support your retreat’s needs. Each bedroom is infused with its own soft energy, organic design, and unique character. Here you will gently surrender into deep rest and relaxation.

At Casa de Cura we honour the beauty of moving in ways that reconnect you to yourself - whether it’s sunrise hikes through our mountain trails, practicing yoga in The Shala, or moving intuitively on The Deck.
Each moment in our healing village reminds you of your deep connection to the earth - whether it’s meditating under our ‘Bodhi Tree’, having the Monchique sunshine gently kiss your skin, or basking in healing water of our natural pond.
We have created the space for you to build the bonds that inspire and nurture you long after you leave - whether it’s sharing home-grown food with like-hearted souls at The Gather, exchanging stories with new friends around a fire in The Hideout, or sitting in ceremony with friends who feel like family. This space is here to support you to remember and return home to your true nature.

Casa de Cura is hidden in the heart of the Serra de Monchique of the Algarve, 15 minutes from our nearest town, Monchique; 40 minutes from our nearest city, Lagos; and worlds away from the daily hustle.
